Located on Samsen Road, just off Khao San road, Mayompuri offer a good Thai dining experience in beautiful surroundings. Set in a Thai style house with grounds, Mayompuri gives you the option of sitting outside in the booths and tables among the fountains and covers of the garden. Alternatively, the inside offers nice simple surroundings in the Thai Style house.
The menu here is, as expected in this area, a mix of Thai specialities and western dishes. Both are well prepared and tasty and offers good value. The same can be said for the drinks with a gin/tonic costing from 80 baht per glass. This all conspires to make Mayompuri a great value venue, the surroundings and set-up considered.
Two persons can dine from around 500 baht here excluding drinks.

Should you wish to move to a new place, nearby Tom Yum Gung on Khao San road also offers very good Thai food. Moving closer to central Bangkok, Cabbages and Condoms on Sukumvit soi 11 also offers excellent food in a nice garden setting. Would you like to take the the step into true fine Thai dining, one option would be Celadon at the Sukhothai Hotel on Sathorn road.
