Located at the Shangri-La hotel, this beautiful split-level restaurant is entered though the lobby. From here, it offers diners views of the hotel gardens and swimming pools along with views of the river of kings, the Chao Phraya River. Linked to the restaurant is a bar with live music, making this not only a dining spot but a good place for a few after dinner drinks.
Angelini serves excellent Italian food, whether you are requiring something custom made or find your favorite in the extensive menu. The dinner can be enjoyed with their fine selection of Italian wines and for desert a similarly good selection of grappas is ready to accompany your choice. Angelini is simply an excellent Italian restaurant offering fine dining on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.
Expect to pay 3.500 – 4.000 for a full meal for two people. The restaurant is open 11:30 am - 2:30 pm and 6 pm - 11 pm and serves brunch on Sundays.

If Angelini is booked for a function and you are in dire need of Italian food, do not worry. For Italian with an unparalleled view, head up to Mezzaluna at State Tower on Silom Road. Another slightly more down to earth possibility would be Zanotti in Soi saladaeng. However, if you are looking for another combination of Italian food and live music, head to Ma Be Ba in soi Lang Suan.
