This new comer to RCA occupies the former Astra. However, the place has seen a serious overhaul in favor of the better. The interior is a combination of warehouse and chic club, giving it a rustic flavor but maintaining the chic factor. It has several levels and bars and many options as to where to hang out. This is flavored with a continuous list of visiting DJ’s, making 808 one of the prime places for the latest music and DJ’s.
808 has a slightly different crowd than RCA in general. There are fewer young Thai’s dancing around bottles. The Thai visitors here are generally mid twenties, a bit more mature and with a personal style. Couple that with a larger number of foreign visitors and you have a completely different group, though one that definitely also knows how to party.
For drinking, 808 serves you beers, cocktails, bottles of whatever you might be in the mood for. Especially during weekends, expect it to be packed.

For alternative venues, RCA of course always have the ever partying Slim and Route 66. Another alternative would be heading to Sukumvit Road and Q Bar and Bed Supper Club in Sukumvit soi 11 which also both feature a steady stream of new DJ’s.
