Siam square is the unofficial centre of Bangkok, with the title taking on a more official ring when it comes to shopping. Here you find the most well-known shopping centres of Bangkok, from high end Siam Paragon which also offers Siam Ocean World to bargain ready Maboonklong Department Store (MBK), as well as the market inside Siam Square itself.

Siam square itself is also home to some nightlife options like Hard Rock Cafe and CM2, while the dining here is mainly in the centres.

Going from Siam Square towards Sukhumvit, you pass by the streets of Ratchadamri, Wireless road and, especially, Soi Lang Suan. These offer numerous excellent dining options, from advance Le Pre Grill to Italian cave-like restaurant Ma Be Ba, and many more.

It is especially an area to enjoy the many varied dining options but later night offers are also available. There is 87+ at Conrad Hotel, the music at Ad Makers and the string of bars around Brown Sugar close to Lumpini Park. For the really late nights, there is also The Tunnel at Lang Suan, often keeping its doors open until the early hours.

The area from Siam to Wireless is definitely a place to live, to shop, to dine and to have fun. It is a truly central area of Bangkok with all that comes with it.
