| Minimalist modern Japanese restaurant at the Westin grande Hotel on Sukhumvit Road. Kisso offers a peaceful main dining room with no cooking noise or the like to distract or disturb diners. For those so inclined, there is alternatively a dedicated Teppanyaki room available. Kisso offers a very wide menu of classic Japanese fair, available both a la carte and through a number of set meals. This includes sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki dishes and more. Kobe beef is also available a la carte. To go with the dinner, Kisso offers a good selection of Sake and Shochu in both the hot and cold varieties, as well as a decent wine list for those so inclined. Taking the drinks out of the equation, prices depends on whether local or imported is required. Two can have a non-local meal (the more expensive) for less than 3.000 One alternative to Kisso would be Tensui in Sukhumvit soi 16. Also close by is Koi which beyond it more California-inspired Japanese cuisine also offers a steady stream of model visitors. Another good possibility which also offers a grand view is Taihei at the Banyan Tree Hotel on Sathorn road. | |
