Located in Soi Ekamai, Escubar is actually two different venues. There is the party venue which is the first entrance encountered when arriving, and there is the bar and lounge which is in a different house right next to the party venue. The party venue is a typical local party with plenty of small tables everywhere, people dancing around these while drinking mainly bottles of whiskey, loud music, little lighting and plenty of young people, mainly Thais, partying. The lounge / bar area on the other hand is more laid back and offers two floors of tables with seating, pool table and more tranquil atmosphere. The crowds here are generally a little bit older, though we are still in the mid-twenties here. The music varied with a focus on modern electronic music pervading. Especially the lounge area is a hangout for the wealthier locals and a large number of very beautiful women.
For those driving, Escobar offer valet parking which is important as a parking spot on Ekamai on a weekend night is about as common as big foot on Ekamai on a weekend night.

If you need a new similar bar to visit, there are plenty in the area. For more lounge conscious visitors, Escudo on thong lor is an obvious choice. Curve just down Ekamai is also a possibility while those more looking for a pure party venue can turn to Booze on Thong Lor soi 10 or Song Saleung on Thong Lor soi 21.
