The greyhound chain operates a number of restaurant/ cafes around Bangkok, including at J-avenue on Thong Lor, at the Emporium and at Siam center. These are all chic café environments with decorations and waiter dress extending this ambience. The menu at all outlets is a meeting of east and west. Thai traditional dishes, western cuisine and fusion offerings combine for a truly excellent offering for all easy occasions. I personally love the meat lasagne and the calamari while the pink cooler, a mix of fruit juices, goes down almost too fast every time. Greyhound is easy, convenient and tasty and that keeps us coming back. Prices are reasonable as well. Most dishes are less than 200 baht with starter fixed around 100 baht each.

Alternatives to Kuppa are more generally a bit more up market. Close to Siam Square, Foodloft at CEntral Chitlom offers a wide menu, while in the Sukumvit area a more upmarket move to Kuppa could be considered. In the Thong Lor area, one interesting possibility would be Vanilla Restaurant.
